Max Douwes (1982) gained a Master in Science & Business Management from Utrecht University. This study programme focuses on the interaction between research and the business sector. He followed the Fundamentals of Business and Economics programme as part of his studies. Before that, he followed the Biology and Medical Laboratory Research study programme at the Leeuwarden Northern University of Applied Sciences (specialisation: Medical Microbiology).

Max has a substantive interest in and knowledge of Life Sciences, the field of activity of InnoTact Consulting. Coming up with enterprising ideas is something he grew up with and his strong ambition is to put Life Sciences at the service of society in an economically sound manner.
During his Master course, Max followed a business internship at the Europe China Institute of Nyenrode Business University. He studied the influence of biotech clusters on the success of biotech companies at the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park in Shanghai (China). Before that, Max followed internships at Utrecht University Medical Centre and the Netherlands Vaccine Institute.
His entrepreneurial attitude prompted Max to work for various Life Sciences businesses (via temping agencies) during his studies. This is how he was introduced to GenMab, SynCo BioPartners, Crucell and Aqtis Medical, among other things. As a Life Sciences Analyst at InnoTact, Max mainly focuses on mapping out the often complex backgrounds and environments of instructions.
