Dr. M. (Michael) van der Horst

Michael has a diplomatic and result driven approach and his interests and strengths lie in combining science and transfer of knowledge and know-how. This is evident from his research that covers (bio) chemistry, microbiology and bio (physics), and his experience in teaching these disciplines. On account of his academic network and excellent scientific education, Michael is a valuable asset for the InnoTact technical projects where science and transfer of knowledge and know-how are important.

Michael achieved his Masters-title (Chemistry) and his Doctorate (Microbiology) at the University of Amsterdam. His international career includes periods in Germany (TU Darmstadt) and Belgium (KU Leven). He has presented his work at various international congresses and has been allocated research grants for his scientific work. Michael is also co-author of more than 30 international publications in scientific books and journals.
